Early Sketches
In the logo roughs below, Silver Tree Insurance Consultants is represented by a mature, strong tree with a steady base and a wide, overarching canopy. Several large, branching limbs are visible, and represent the various types of insurance Silver Tree consults on. The tree sits on level ground created by the logotype below it. Typeface for “Silver Tree” is a serif, hand-designed specimen that mirrors the arch of the tree branches. “Insurance Consultants” appears in small sans-serif caps below it.
“Silver Tree” is in all caps, creating a stately and steady appearance, coupled with a tree canopy that feels full and denser--more formal--without individually identifiable leaves. This dense canopy seems to cover the space below it, protective and umbrella-like, offering a sense of safety and guidance.
“Silver Tree” is in title case, creating a more approachable appearance. The tree canopy contains individually identifiable leaves representing the various insurance options that are brought together into a single understandable whole through consultation with Silver Tree Insurance Consultants.
